Come learn about the minerals and rocks in your yard.  We’ll discuss fossils, petrified wood, crystals, fluorescent minerals and more.  Two field trips will be taken to collect fossil clams, quartz and amethyst crystals.  We will also pan for gold and learn where to hunt for it.
