The Outdoor Education Program at Cedar Springs Camp offers ten environmental education classes, six outdoor living skills courses and three team concepts.  All classes are aligned with Washington State’s Essential Academic Learning Requirements.

Environmental Education

Through hands on exploration and guided discovery, students will begin to recognize the wonders of nature and how human life impacts the natural world.

Outdoor Living Skills

By stressing fundamental skills and an appreciation for outdoor recreation, we strive to help students develop positive and healthy life choices.

Team Concepts

The goal of these activities is to cultivate group living skills necessary throughout life.  Students will begin to understand how individual skills benefit the entire group.  They will gain an appreciation for individual and group accomplishments, and learn how their actions can affect the community to which they belong.
